To prepare for immersion baptism or reaffirmation of baptism you need:

1. A prepared testimony of 1-2 mins. For inspiration, refer to the Testimony resources on Pathways.

2. Suitable clothes for water baptism (avoid white and logos on shirts).

3. Two dry towels. One to wrap yourself in upon exiting the baptism tank, and one to dry yourself with when you change.

4. A support person to hand you your towel and offer prayer/support.

5. Arrive 15 minutes before the start of the service.

NB: A change room will be available to you in the side room of the auditorium. You can leave your dry change of clothes, and your second towel here.

To become a member of Hope Valley Church you need to have committed your life to Christ and been baptised. You are then invited to publicly make vows of Membership that declare your commitment to Christ, our Mission, Beliefs, and Values, and to serve and grow with other members.

To prepare for membership you need:

1. Read through the Membership covenant, available on the Pathways website.

2. Please arrive fifteen minutes before the start of the service. 

3. Please sit towards the front of the auditorium on the right hand side.
